The installations are up and the artists are ready and rarin’ to go! Come check out our opening tonight at the Loveland Feed and Grain, an historic building in Loveland, Colorado. The Feed and Grain is in the process of being renovated by Artspace Projects, Inc. Artspace “is America’s leading nonprofit developer for the arts. Their mission is to create, foster and preserve affordable space for artists and arts organizations. An experienced Downtown real estate developer for the arts, Artspace has developed more than 20 artists live/work projects around the country. Most importantly, Artspace provides long-term programming and management for their projects and dedicates them in perpetuity to arts uses.” (http://www.lovelandfeedandgrain.org/)
The opening tonight starts at 6pm and will have live music by Wendy Woo, glassblowing demos, performance art by Abbie Powers, food, and of course, glass, fiber, stone, (and porcelain…) installations by 17 different artists. I’m blown away by the talent in this show. You’re in for a treat if you’re able to come and see it all!
I’ll post pictures later today… we’re off to the mountain soon for a bit of hiking!
